gin curve story

Every great creation has something to tell

In 1995 and as a hobby, Adriano builds a small alembic in the yard of his house and begins to make tests of distillation of grape marc obtaining the traditional Italian staple.

At a dinner with friends we present this homemade digestive and one of them who is today one of the most recognized winemakers in Argentina, he said. "Tano, this is a work of art." These words were the inspiration to encourage and create one of the few distilleries in the country.

After 25 years of experience and being a Master Distiller, Adriano decides to launch his exquisite GIN CURVE that combines the Italian tradition of distilling pomace by steam dragging with the infusion technique to elaborate Gin.

Taking Curves

At the beginning of the 90’s and after 20 years away from his youthful passion, Adriano decides to rediscover the world of two wheels. It was time to feel the freedom again and let the adrenaline run through his body.

It was thus that it acquired from the Bavarian firm a beautiful two-cylinder engine model.

The first trip he made was to Villa General Belgrano in Córdoba, about eight hours from the city of Mendoza. That was the beginning of a story full of friends and anecdotes that in this section we will share with you

GIN CURVE SECRETS

There are two components that make this GIN unique: on the one hand, Malbec and Torrontes grape marc liquor are produced, and on the other hand, the base of GIN is prepared for the final obtaining of an exquisite blend of traditions.

The grape marc distillation process is developed in two stages. The first one is the vaporization of volatile elements and the second is the condensation of vapors produced. In a second distillation, a fine and selective extraction of the aromatic components of the Malbec and Torrontes grapes is obtained by regulating the external supply of energy and with a slow and constant rhythm.

The second component is the result of the maceration of coriander and cardamom, which gives a scent of herbs and a subtle sweetness; of grapefruit, that provides citrus and fruity flavor; of pennyroyal, that transmits its mint freshness; and finally of the characteristic juniper, which provides its unmistakable aroma and flavor.

The two spirits in the correct portion are diluted with mineral water from the melting of the Andes mountain range, thus forming an exquisite Italian-Argentine GIN

When you take this curve, you will first find fresh and citrus air, and then you will pass through a small forest of herbs to achieve a delicate and spicy finish.
